The Brazilian Institute for the Law of the Sea (IBDMAR/BILOS) announced its International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea Moot Court Competition. The keywords of the ITLOS Moot Court Competition hypothetical case are: Small Island Developing States, fisheries access agreement, traditional fishing rights, pollution from land-based sources, pollution from vessels, plastics and waste management. Last year’s ITLOS Moot Court counted with teams from Brazil, Vietnam and Indonesia, as well as with highly qualified international legal professionals from all over the world acting as judges. Not only were teams and judges international, we also had the utmost honour of having two ITLOS judges judging our Final round.
